In our world, “politics determines who has the power, not who has the truth”. This leads to an economic system where “for most [humans], economic growth is a spectator sport”.
The solution to this injustice will come through “democracy, civil liberties, and the rule of law” to create a “relatively equal society, supported by institutions that limit extremes of wealth and poverty.”
Ultimately, our world will become a better place when more of us “try to create the society we would want if we didn’t know in advance who we’d be.”
